Evanston Park – Gawler-One Tree Hill Road
Site investigation works at Evanston Park, Gawler
Site investigation works are underway along Gawler One Tree Hill Road, from Somerton Road up to and including the roundabout at Schomburgk Drive. These investigations will inform the feasibility and design of a proposed new water trunk main connecting to the existing Barossa Water Trunk Main.
These investigations will help assess network resilience, improve system operability, and support the delivery of safe and reliable water services for current and future customers in the area.
What to expect
Investigation works at Gawler-One Tree Hill Road include:
- surveying and potholing of existing services
- excavation works for soil testing
- acoustic monitoring
Potholing will also occur along Gawler–One Tree Hill Road and at the Schomburgk roundabout. Speed and lane restrictions will be in place to keep crews and the community safe. You may also notice small acoustic‑testing devices in the area over the next 3–4 weeks.
Nearby residents may experience some dust, noise, vibration and occasional traffic delays. We will work to complete the investigations as quickly as possible and minimise impacts to the community.
Please note: Timeline dates are subject to change based on program requirements and weather conditions.
