Kalperri Road Tank Site, Sandy Creek
Tank construction works will continue on Monday 5 January 2026.
From this date, to maintain the project schedule, we will maximise daylight savings and commence onsite works from 6.00am on Monday to Saturdays.
We will notify you of the second slab pour date in the new year.
What: Works will commence from 6.00am on Mondays to Saturdays, the usual end time of 5.00pm will continue during this period
When: Monday 5 January 2026 to Saturday, 4 April 2026
Why: Commencing works earlier in the warmer months:
-
maximises productivity and safety by undertaking works during the most stable weather conditions earlier in the day
- eliminates the need for temporary lighting, with works commencing at sunrise
-
aligns with wide-load transport curfews and early deliveries
-
reduces noise to neighbouring residents and the local community (due to working in less windy conditions)
- reduces the risk of program delays caused by heat restrictions and afternoon wind which impacts elevated work activities
If there are changes to these times, we will provide advance notification.
- Truck activity will continue, crews will be on site
- Access to properties on Kalperri Road will be maintained
- There will be some noise and dust suppression activities will be in place.
