Upgrading our wastewater network in Reid, Willaston, Gawler Belt and Roseworthy

To support current and future customers in the region, we’re delivering a major upgrade to the local wastewater network.

Construction is now underway to install approximately 7.5 kilometres of new wastewater mains across Reid, Willaston, Gawler Belt, and Roseworthy, along with a new pump station on Davidson Road in Reid.

This new infrastructure will help provide reliable wastewater services to existing customers and support continued growth in the Roseworthy area.

Where we’re working

  • Paternoster Road
  • Kentish Road
  • Redbanks Road
  • Twartz Road

What to expect

  • changed traffic arrangements will be in place across the area until mid-2026
  • work may take place during the day, at night or on weekends to help maintain schedule and minimise disruption
  • you may notice some noise, vibration and dust during construction
  • we’ll continue working closely with the community to minimise impacts wherever possible.

Horrocks Highway, Roseworthy

In January 2026, we will be upgrading the water infrastructure on land adjacent to Horrocks Highway, Roseworthy.

Location of Pressure Reducing ValveThe new infrastructure includes installing a new pressure reducing valve on the western side of Horrocks Highway, between The Boulevard and Knappstein Avenue, Roseworthy. This will include establishing a site compound which will provide offices, amenities and carparking for staff, and laydown areas for machinery and storage of construction materials. There is expected to be minimal impact on traffic during these works.

Please note: Timeline dates are subject to change based on program requirements and weather conditions.

What happens to roads and footpaths after our works?

We work closely with the local council and follow all required reinstatement obligations, reinstating the parts of the road, footpath or the environment directly impacted by our works.
