Gawler Belt: Paternoster, Kentish, Redbanks and Twartz Roads
Upgrading our wastewater network in Reid, Willaston, Gawler Belt and Roseworthy
To support current and future customers in the region, we’re delivering a major upgrade to the local wastewater network.
Construction is now underway to install approximately 7.5 kilometres of new wastewater mains across Reid, Willaston, Gawler Belt, and Roseworthy, along with a new pump station on Davidson Road in Reid.
This new infrastructure will help provide reliable wastewater services to existing customers and support continued growth in the Roseworthy area.

What happens to roads and footpaths after our works?
We work closely with the local council and follow all required reinstatement obligations, reinstating the parts of the road, footpath or the environment directly impacted by our works.

Key details:
- Construction of a new pump station will begin within the Fulton Hogan project site on Davidson Road.
- Crews will be onsite using heavy machinery throughout the works.
- Minimal traffic disruption is expected, though some larger deliveries may temporarily impact traffic flow.
- Noise, dust, or vibration levels may increase at times during construction.
- Access to local properties will be maintained as per current arrangements.

Key details:
- Kentish Road will be closed to traffic between Kerr Road and Redbanks Road for installation of inspection points.
- Kentish Road and Redbanks Road intersection will be closed during these works.
- Detour via Parkers Road ad Clancy Road will be in place (see detour map below).
- Please follow detour signage onsite.
- The road will be reopened outside of construction hours, with speed restrictions in place.
- Please note that works also continue on Redbanks Road.

- traffic management, including manually operated traffic lights will be in place
- local and business access will be maintained at all times
- some noise, vibration and dust may be noticed during these works
- the intersection of Redbanks Road and Kentish Road will be closed to traffic during working hours for public and worker safety, and a detour will be in place (see map below)
