Upgrading our water network in Concordia and Gawler East
To improve capacity and secure reliable water services for existing and future customers in the Roseworthy region, we’re upgrading the local water network in Concordia and Gawler East.
Construction is now underway, with new water mains being installed alongside existing mains to strengthen the network as well as the construction of two new Booster Pumps Stations.

Concordia Road, Concordia
From November 2025, we’ll be upgrading the local water infrastructure along Concordia Road. This includes replacing the existing booster pump station located at the corner of Concordia Road and Barossa Valley Way. Construction of the new booster pump station began in late November 2025 and will continue through to mid-2027.
Schomburgk Drive, Gawler East
From mid-2026, we will be upgrading the water infrastructure at Schomburgk Drive in Gawler East, which includes the installation of pipes under the road a new booster pump station.

We will aim to complete these works as efficiently as possible, minimising disruption to the community.
What to expect
- changed traffic arrangements will be in place across the area until mid-2026
- work may take place during the day, at night or on weekends to help maintain schedule and minimise disruption
- you may notice some noise, vibration and dust during construction
- we’ll continue working closely with the community to minimise impacts wherever possible.
Please note: Timeline dates are subject to change based on program requirements and weather conditions.
