Starting in 2025, new water mains will be installed along Martin Road, Concordia and Concordia Road and Sunnydale Avenue, Gawler East to secure reliable services for existing customers, as well as current and future customers in the Roseworthy area.

The new pipes will be installed alongside the existing pipes to increase the capacity of the current infrastructure. We do not expect any water supply interruptions for existing customers during the works.

Work schedule:

Martin Road

Starting in mid-January 2025, work will occur Monday to Friday between 7:00am to 5:30pm.

We will keep property owners and road users informed before and throughout our works to minimise disruptions as much as possible.

Sunnydale Avenue and Concordia Road

Starting in May 2025, work will occur Monday to Friday between 7:00am to 5:30pm.

Traffic delays are expected, and there may be detours in place. Some work along Barossa Valley Way will be done at night to minimise disruptions, with advance notice given to those affected.

We will keep property owners, businesses, and road users informed before and throughout our works to reduce disruptions as much as possible.

There may be some noise and dust during the work.

    Construction on Martin Road will begin the week commencing 13 January.

    The works will occur on the northern section of Martin Road between numbers 163 and 284.

    Key details:

    Works hours: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Occasional Saturday work may be required

    Duration: Approximately eleven months

    What you need to know

      • There will be reduced speed limits on Martin Road.
      • At times, the road will be a single lane with a stop and go traffic system in place.
      • Vehicles will still be able to travel through the works but, short delays are expected.
      • The works will involve excavation and the installation of large pipes.
      • No interruptions to water supplies are expected.
