• permanent asphalt reinstatement works on Andrews Road/Bellchambers Road intersection
• Andrews Road closure between Womma Road and Petherton Road
• 3-way traffic lights with shuttle flow in place for Womma Road and Andrews Road (south of Womma Road)
• detours will be in place during works, please follow all onsite signage.

Where: Andrews Road between Hatcher Road and Angle Vale Road

Hours of work: 7.00am to 5.00pm

Key details:

• permanent asphalt reinstatement works, weather permitting
• Andrews Road full closure between Hatcher Road and Angle Vale Road
  • School bus and heavy vehicles will be allowed through work zone under traffic control instruction
• outside of working hours, road will be open
• local access will be maintained with consultation with onsite traffic control.

Due to weather impacts, works have been rescheduled

When: Wednesday 24 June 2026, (weather permitting)

Where: Andrews Road between Ascot Avenue and Pannan Road

Hours of work: 8.00am to 2.00pm

Key details:

• Educts pipes will be installed at three locations between Ascot Avenue and Pannan Road
• crews will work progressively (south to north)
• during installation of each pipe, the road will be closed as the crane prepares and lifts the pipe into place
• local resident access will be maintained under traffic control
• public transport/school buses won’t be affected
• detour maps for each section below.

Where: Angle Vale Road / Stebonheath Road / Athol Road / Pearson Road intersection

Hours of work: 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

• detours will change as works progress, please follow on-site signage
• access to properties within the work zone will be maintained through on-site traffic management.

Key details:

Step 1: Monday 15 June for approximately 2 weeks

• Angle Vale Road single lane closure (eastbound lane) with traffic lights and shuttle flow in place during works
  • No access to/from Angle Vale Road for Athol Road, Stebonheath Road and Pearson Road
• local access will be available via detours
• detour and changed traffic conditions will be in place, please follow onsite signage
• outside of working hours, all roads will be open.

• Angle Vale Road single lane closure (westbound lane) with 4 x traffic lights and shuttle flow in place
• Stebonheath Road 24/7 closure between Angle Vale Road and Clarence Road
  • No access to/from Angle Vale Road for Stebonheath Road
• local access for Stebonheath Road residents will be maintained from the south only using detours.

Step 2 detour:

Step 3: approximately end-June to mid-August

• Angle Vale Road traffic changes including reduced speed restrictions in place
• Stebonheath Road 24/7 closure between Angle Vale Road and Clarence Road
  • No access to/from Angle Vale Road for Stebonheath Road
• local access for Stebonheath Road residents will be maintained from the south only using detours.

Where: Andrews Road between Petherton Road and Curtis Road

Hours of work: 7.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday

Key details:

• additional crews will be working on Andrews Road and nearby streets
• to reduce the overall construction time, work will take place in multiple locations
• to safely complete the works, some sections will be closed to traffic at all times
• multiple detours will be in place for the duration of the works – please follow all onsite signage
• local and business access will be maintained at all times
• works are also continuing along Andrews Road, north of Curtis Road.
