Upgrading our wastewater network on Andrews Road and Angle Vale Road

We’re upgrading wastewater infrastructure in your area to support reliable services for current and future customers in Angle Vale.

Construction is now underway, with around 10 kilometres of new wastewater mains being installed along Andrews Road and Angle Vale Road.

  • Along Andrews Road, from the Bellchambers Road intersection through to the Angle Vale Road intersection
  • Along Angle Vale Road, from the Andrews Road intersection through to the Stebonheath Road intersection.


What to expect

  • Changed traffic arrangements will be in place along Andrews Road and Angle Vale Road until the end of 2025
  • Work may take place during the day, at night or on weekends to help maintain schedule and minimise disruption
  • You may notice some noise, vibration and dust during construction
  • We’ll continue working closely with the community to minimise impacts wherever possible

What happens to roads and footpaths after our works?

We work closely with the local council and follow all required reinstatement obligations, reinstating the parts of the road, footpath or the environment directly impacted by our works.

    Key details:

    • night works will take place intermittently between 7:30pm to 6:00am, Sunday to Friday
    • to ensure safety, this section of Angle Vale Road will be closed during night works
    • occasional day works will take place under traffic control
    • detours will be in place, please follow on-site signage
    • access to properties within the work zone will be maintained through on-site traffic management.

      • during this time, Andrews Road/Bellchambers Road intersection will be closed
      • local access to Andrews Road will be via Womma Road only (no access to Bellchambers Road from Andrews Road)
      • local access to Bellchambers Road will be via Stebonheath Road only (no access to Andrews Road from Bellchambers Road).
    • 8 December - 17 December 2025
      • day works, 7.00am-5.00pm
      • during this time, Andrews Road/Bellchambers Road intersection will be closed from 7am-5pm
      • local access to Andrews Road will be via Womma Road only (no access to Bellchambers Road from Andrews Road)
      • local access to Bellchambers Road will be via Stebonheath Road only (no access to Andrews Road from Bellchambers Road)
      • outside of working hours, intersection will be reduced to one lane with traffic lights and speed restrictions in place
      • minor delays are to be expected.

    Where: Andrews Road between Petherton Road and Curtis Road

    Hours of work: 7.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday

    Key details:

    • additional crews will be working along this section of Andrews Road
    • to reduce the overall construction time, work will take place in multiple locations
    • to safely complete the works, sections of Andrews Road will be closed to traffic at all times
    • multiple detours will be in place for the duration of the works – please follow all onsite signage
    • local and business access will be maintained at all times
    • works are also continuing along Andrews Road, north of Curtis Road.

    Where: Andrews Road between Ascot Avenue and Angle Vale Road

    Hours of work: 7.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday

    Key details:

    • multiple sections of Andrews Road will be closed to traffic from 7.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday
    • traffic changes will be in place, please follow the detour signage onsite
    • outside of work hours, the road will be open in most locations, with speed and lane restrictions
    • to reduce the overall construction time, work will occur in multiple locations along Andrews Road
    • local and business access will be maintained at all times
    • bus stops inside the work zones will be temporarily relocated
    • signage at affected bus stops will provide details of alternate locations

    Timeline dates are subject to change based on program requirements and weather conditions

    Note: Andrews Road (Munno Para West) – Christmas break (19 December to 5 January)

    Andrews Road will reopen between Curtis Road and Angle Vale Road from 19 December until early January 2026.

    Works on Andrews Road between Pannan Road and Angle Vale Road will recommence from early January 2026.
