From March 2025, approximately 10 kilometres of wastewater mains will be installed along Angle Vale Road and Andrews Road to secure reliable services to existing customers, as well as new and future customers in the area.

Works will occur on Andrews Road from the Bellchambers intersection through to the Angle Vale Road intersection. Works will continue on Angle Vale Road from the Andrews Road intersection through to the Stebonheath Road intersection.

To complete this work as quickly as possible while keeping disruptions low, some activity may happen during the day, night, or weekends.     A new stage of works will soon begin to install new water pipes beneath Angle Vale Road, starting near the Andrews Road intersection and progressing east toward Stebonheath Road.

    When:

    Works are scheduled to commence Sunday 11 May and are expected to be completed by late 2025.

    Key details:

    • construction will take place overnight from 7:30pm to 6:00am, Sunday to Friday
    • to ensure safety, this section of Angle Vale Road will be closed during night works
    • detours will be clearly signposted via Dalkeith and Stebonheath Roads
    • access to properties within the work zone will be maintained through on-site traffic management.

    The next stage of pipeline installation along Andrews Road, from the current site through to Womma Road, will begin on Monday 5 May and continue to July 2025.

    To access properties on the southern section of Andrews Road, all traffic will need to detour via Stebonheath Road and Bellchambers Road. Please refer to the detour map below.

    The road will be closed just north of the entrance to the residential village. Access to properties within the work zone will be maintained – please speak to onsite traffic management personnel for assistance.

    Key details:

    When: From Monday 5 May to July 2025

    Road closed: Andrews Road between Womma Road and just north of the residential village entrance

    Detour: Via Stebonheath Road and Bellchambers Road (indicated by red/blue arrows)

    Local traffic: Access to properties in the work zone will be maintained through onsite traffic management
