Upgrading our water network in Elizabeth North and Davoren Park

To support reliable water services for existing homes and businesses, and meet the needs of growing communities, we’re delivering an upgrade to install approximately 2,400 metres of new water mains in Elizabeth North and Davoren Park.

Work has been underway since January 2025 to lay new pipes and construct gate valve chambers along the alignment to help regulate and maintain water pressure across the network.

Where we’re working
(See map below for details)

The pipeline will be installed along sections of:

  • Petherton Road
  • Heytesbury Road
  • Meadows Lane
  • Gerald Boulevard
  • under the Gawler Rail Corridor to Donnington Road
  • Old Sarum Road
  • Whiteparish Road
  • Woodford Road
  • across Main North Road to the intersection of Midway Road and McKenzie Road.

What to expect

  • Changed traffic arrangements will be in place throughout the area until early 2026
  • Work may take place during the day, at night or on weekends to help maintain schedule and minimise disruption
  • You may notice some noise, vibration and dust during construction
  • We’ll continue working closely with the community to minimise impacts wherever possible
  • If you're directly affected, we’ll provide advance notice and work closely with residents, businesses, and road users before and during construction.

Please note: Timeline dates are subject to change based on program requirements and weather conditions

What happens to roads and footpaths after our works?

We work closely with the local council and follow all required reinstatement obligations, reinstating the parts of the road, footpath or the environment directly impacted by our works.
