From April 2025, construction works will commence to install approximately 86 metres of new wastewater mains and three new inspection points on the north-eastern corner of the Bellchambers and Stebonheath Road roundabout. This upgrade will ensure secure reliable services for existing customers, as well as new and future customers in the area

These works will occur concurrently with other nearby Metro Growth wastewater projects. Project teams are closely collaborating to plan detours and traffic management activities.

What to expect

We’re committed to minimising disruptions and keeping you informed throughout the works.

If you’re affected by the works, we’ll let you know in advance and work closely with property owners, residents, businesses, and road users before and during the project. To complete this work as quickly as possible while keeping disruptions low, some activity may happen during the day, night, or weekends. We’re also looking at all options to reduce road closures, detours, and traffic delays.

Please note, timeline dates are subject to change based on program requirements and weather conditions.
