Upgrading our wastewater network in Onkaparinga Heights

We’re upgrading wastewater infrastructure in Noarlunga Downs, Huntfield Heights and Onkaparinga Heights to support reliable services for current and future customers.

In May 2025, installation will begin on a new gravity‑fed wastewater main. The alignment includes three sections, each crossing Main South Road via micro‑tunnelling.

This infrastructure will service and enable development of approximately 3,000 new residential allotments in Onkaparinga Heights.

Completion is expected by Mid 2027, providing increased network capacity to support future development.

  • River Road, Noarlunga Downs
  • Patapinda Road, Onkaparinga Heights
  • Adel Circuit, Huntfield Heights
  • Brodie Road, Huntfield Heights

What to expect

  • changed traffic arrangements will be in place throughout the area until late-2026
  • work may take place during the day, at night or on weekends to help maintain schedule and minimise disruption
  • you may notice some noise, vibration and dust during construction
  • we’ll continue working closely with the community to minimise impacts wherever possible
  • If you're directly affected, we’ll provide advance notice and work closely with residents, businesses, and road users before and during construction.

Please note: Timeline dates are subject to change based on program requirements and weather conditions.

What happens to roads and footpaths after our works?

We work closely with the local council and follow all required reinstatement obligations, reinstating the parts of the road, footpath or the environment directly impacted by our works.
