From September 2024, approximately 3,000 metres of new water pipe mains are being installed along Angle Vale (from Roberts Road to Port Wakefield Road, Virginia) and Supple Road to secure reliable services to both existing customers as well as new and future customers located in Riverlea.
A new pressure reducing valve will also be constructed on Supple Road, which will connect to the pipe to regulate the incoming water pressure from SA Water's network.
Supple Road (including Angle Vale Road to Old Port Wakefield Road)
When: 25 September 2024 - July 2025, Mondays to Fridays, 7am to 6pm.
Impacts: Supple Road will be closed to trafficbetween Angle Vale Road and Park Road for the duration of these works from September to the end of November 2024. This work may generate some noise and dust.
There will be delays and detours in place along Angle Vale Road until July 2025.This work may generate some noise, vibration and dust.
Angle Vale Road (from Roberts Road to Old Port Wakefield Road)
When: 4 November 2024 - July 2025, Mondays to Fridays, 6am and 5pm.
Impacts: Works will commence near Roberts Road intersection and move west towards Old Port Wakefield Road. There will be traffic delays and detours will be in place along Angle Vale Road until July 2025. This work may generate some noise, vibration and dust.
