From January 2025, approximately 2,400 metres of new water mains are being installed in Elizabeth North and Davoren Park to secure reliable services to existing customers as well as new and future customers.

New gate valve chambers will also be constructed along the alignment, which will help maintain water pressure.

Where will work occur

The pipeline will be installed along sections of:

  • Petherton Road
  • Heytesbury Road
  • Meadows Lane
  • Gerald Boulevard
  • under the Gawler Rail Corridor to Donnington Road
  • Old Sarum Road
  • Whiteparish Road
  • Woodford Road
  • across Main North Road to the intersection of Midway Road and McKenzie Road.

What to expect

We’re committed to minimising disruptions and keeping you informed throughout the works.

If you’re affected by the works, we’ll let you know in advance and work closely with property owners, residents, businesses, and road users before and during the project. To complete this work as quickly as possible while keeping disruptions low, some activity may happen during the day, night, or weekends. We’re also looking at all options to reduce road closures, detours, and traffic delays.

Please note, timeline dates are subject to change based on program requirements and weather conditions

What happens to roads and footpaths after our works?

We work closely with the local council and follow all required reinstatement obligations, reinstating the parts of the road, footpath or the environment directly impacted by our works.
