Construction update – temporary change in work hours

Earthworks are complete. After minor delays, tank construction will soon commence with two major concrete slab pours.

When:

  • Pour 1 – will occur within the following timeframe:

Sunday 7 December, 7:00 pm to Tuesday 9 December, 7:00 am

  • Pour 2 – will now occur in the new year (date to be confirmed)

Working hours for the pours will occur continuously over a 24-hour period. These dates may change due to weather or unforeseen issues. We will confirm any updates a few days before work begins.

What to expect

  • There will be many concrete trucks travelling along Kalperri Road during these works. Trucks will use our site as a waiting bay to minimise road disruption, where possible.
  • Access to properties on Kalperri Road will be maintained. Please expect some delays and reduced speed limits
  • There will be some noise; dust suppression activities will be in place

To minimise disruptions to local farming activities, such as harvest, please consider using an alternative road or moving machinery to sites outside of these days, if possible.

Weekend works:

Crews will conduct additional works on the following weekends:

  • Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December, 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 December, 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
