Upgrading our wastewater network in Buckland Park

To support reliable wastewater services for existing and future customers in Riverlea, we’re installing approximately 7,000 metres of new wastewater mains in Buckland Park.

The upgrade will include connecting new pipes directly to the Bolivar wastewater treatment plant and installing a pump station on Brooks Road.

This upgrade is an important part of strengthening the network and supporting growth in the area.

Where we’re working

Wastewater pipe installation works will take place along or across the following locations:

What to expect

  • changed traffic arrangements will be in place throughout the area until the end of 2026
  • work may take place during the day, at night or on weekends to help maintain schedule and minimise disruption
  • you may notice some noise, vibration and dust during construction
  • we will continue to work closely with the community to minimise impacts wherever possible
  • if you're directly affected, we will provide advance notice and work closely with residents, businesses and road users before and during construction.

Please note: Timeline dates are subject to change based on program requirements and weather conditions.

What happens to roads and footpaths after our works?

We will work closely with the local council and follow all required reinstatement obligations, reinstating the parts of the road, footpath or the environment directly impacted by our works.
