Construction works update – temporary change in work hours
To support the commissioning of the new Sandy Creek water tanks, we may need to utilise intermittent night works at the tank site for a temporary period. These works will occur in addition to our approved daytime construction activities.
When: Intermittent night works between Monday, 20 July and Friday, 7 August 2026
Where: Sandy Creek tank site
Working hours: 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, Sundays to Thursday nights
- existing daytime construction hours will continue
Key Details:
- increased lighting within the work site
- light and heavy vehicle movements on Kalperri Road, although fewer than during a typical weekday
- some noise from commissioning activities and excavation equipment.
