Construction works update – temporary change in work hours

Tank construction works will continue through to late 2026.

To maintain the project schedule, we will be working some Sundays.

What: Works will continue during standard construction hours of 6.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Saturday. Additional works will also be undertaken on Sundays between 7.00 am and 5.00 pm.

When: Sunday 12 July 2026 – Sunday 2 August 2026

Why: To maintain the project schedule and maximise available construction time and help offset weather-related disruptions experienced during recent weeks.

What to expect:

  • Light activities at the tank site will occur on Sundays during the notified work hours.

  • Access to properties on Kalperri Road will be maintained.

  • The noise and traffic will be significantly less than during weekday works.

  • Existing speed restrictions will remain in place for the safety of road users and construction personnel.
