Together with McConnell Dowell Diona Joint Venture (MDJV), we are constructing a new 1.8- kilometre underground water pipe between Potts Road and Alexander Avenue, Evanston Park. This new pipeline will connect to the Barossa Trunk Main which supplies water to the area, and will improve water reliability for the area now and into the future.
Works will begin in early December 2024 and are expected to be completed by mid-2025. Works will typically be Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am and 6pm.
The start and duration of works are dependent on weather conditions and any technical constraints we may encounter. We will endeavour to complete the works as quickly as possible, with minimal impact to the community.
There will be no works between 23 December 2024 and 3 January 2025.
The team will be mobilising to site in December to set up site offices, conduct further site surveys and complete vegetation pruning and removal.
As with any infrastructure project, some inconvenience to neighbouring residents is inevitable, and we assure you we are committed to minimising any potential impacts. There will be noise associated with our construction works as we are trenching through roads and reserves. There will be machinery and truck movements associated with this.
Localised traffic management will be in place to provide a safe environment for our crews and the community, so please allow more time if traveling through the area.
Should we require any road closures, they will be temporary with access maintained for residents. If we need to restrict property access, we will inform impacted residents beforehand.
