We create a number of opportunities to have conversations with our customers and community.
Brainwave education program
Each year, through our Brainwave program, we offer a series of free events for school students. Brainwave events support the Australian Curriculum in three key areas: geography, science and sustainability.
We offer tours and presentations providing information about water treatment, sewage treatment and desalination. Our community program also includes community partnerships and our ever popular Quench Benches providing drinking water for events. Learn more on the community events page, or our website.
Partnering with Aboriginal communities
We have set our direction through to 2020 to be a leader in reconciliation for our customers, our partners, our people, and the communities in which we operate. With a Reconciliation Action Plan in place and actions actively underway, we are working in partnership with a number of Aboriginal communities across South Australia from the west coast through to the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands.
Projects
We engage with communities and individuals impacted by projects and work with them to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Understanding what you think of us and our services
To ensure we meet your needs, we contact customers to measure their satisfaction with the service we provide. We ask questions about how the community perceives us, and opinions about how we are performing as a business. We do this on an ongoing basis through a combination of phone and online surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one interviews.
