Traffic Changes: St Kilda Road rescheduled

The St Kilda Road pipe installation works have been rescheduled due to wet weather and flooding in the area.

Where: St Kilda Road, Waterloo Corner (alongside the Tramway Museum)

When:

Stage 1 - Pipeline installation: Monday, 17 August to Friday, 21 August 2026

Stage 2 - Road reinstatement and asphalting: Tuesday, 25 August 2026

Hours of work: 7:00am–5:00pm

Key details:

traffic will be reduced to one lane during works
vehicles will be able to pass through the work area under traffic controller or temporary traffic light direction
short delays may occur
increased noise, dust and mud may be experienced during construction
access to homes and businesses will be maintained
dates may change due to weather or site conditions.
