A new drinking water supply for Marree

The commissioning of a new groundwater reverse osmosis desalination plant is currently in progress. Once completed, the facility will have a capacity of 126 kilolitres per day and will supplying safe, clean drinking water to the Marree community.

The plant is located at Fourth St, close to the existing groundwater bores, elevated water tanks, and other infrastructure.

Completion is due in Q3 2025.
