Home to beautiful landscapes and unique flora and fauna, a number of our reservoir reserves are open for everyone to enjoy and explore.

Preserving their natural beauty remains vital as people enjoy these spaces for recreational activities.

Our reservoirs provide more than 40 per cent of the safe, clean drinking water for South Australians, and each reserve offers important habitat and refuge for special plants and animals.

It’s our shared responsibility to nurture these natural ecological areas – ensuring everyone enjoys a great experience while fostering a healthy and sustainable environment.

Find out which reservoir reserves are open for you to explore.

Volunteering opportunities are available at some reservoir reserves. To find out more, visit reservoirs.sa.gov.au.

If you have ideas you’d like to share about your local reservoir reserve, please contact us at reservoirs@sawater.com.au
