Adelaide’s urban reservoir reserves set to open

Seven reservoir reserves across South Australia including Adelaide’s urban reservoirs Happy Valley and Hope Valley will be open within two years for people to visit and enjoy.

Happy Valley, South Para, Myponga and Warren reservoirs reserves will all feature popular water-based activities like kayaking and fishing by the end of 2021. Hope Valley, Little Para and Barossa reservoir reserves will host land-based recreational activities including cycling and bushwalking with great picnic spots by the end of 2020.

South Para Reservoir Reserve will officially open in early December with cycling, kayaking and fishing on offer, while people will be able to head to Myponga to fish for the first time.
