Project update - May 2026

Construction activity has increased at Billy Lights Point, with more than 100 workers on site and traffic management in place on St Andrews Drive, including periods of single‑lane access.

Bulk earthworks are complete and two‑thirds of the terrestrial pipeline is installed, alongside ongoing structural, drainage, electrical and communications works, with more equipment arriving through June.

Road reinstatement is progressing on Proper Bay Road, Bluefin Road and Greyhound Road following completion of the 7‑kilometre transfer pipeline.

SA Power Networks is also advancing the electricity network extension, with new poles installed and overhead line stringing underway.
