In May 2024 we are replacing approximately 100 metres of wastewater main along Cox Creek, Bridgewater as well as continuing works to remediate and prevent further erosion in the creek. We have identified large areas of creekbank erosion to Cox Creek which could impact the maintenance holes that we have in place for this wastewater main. A creek embankment erosion protection system will be constructed as part of our works and we will include community feedback on its design.
We are replacing this main and protecting the creekbank near our infrastructure to prevent the risk of network failure and wastewater discharge to the creek.
We will continue to provide clear and concise information to the communityand work with Adelaide Hills Council for any upcoming or unplanned works for Cox Creek.
Please view the attached fact sheet for further details about these works.
