Regional Drinking Water Supplies

We are engaging with communities across South Australia to understand the current experience of towns' water supplies and the impact they have on the local communities. The purpose of this engagement is to gather insights about current needs and experiences which will be used to develop a long term plan for regional water aesthetics.

The long term plan will cover all regional areas where our drinking water supply is safe to drink in accordance with the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines but is not aesthetically pleasing because of factors like its taste, colour, consistency or smell, or impact on customer appliances. By assessing criteria like social, economic, environmental and technical considerations, the long term plan will prioritise the towns that have the greatest need for water quality improvement.

We are seeking your feedback to better understand the impact of the current water supply on your day to day lives. See the key dates section of this page to see where we will be engaging with communities over the coming weeks.

If you are unable to make it to one of our community drop in sessions but would like to have your say please complete the form below and one of our representatives will get in touch.
